Are custom orthotics covered by Insurance?

We accept a variety of payment options to make it easy for you. You can use FSA/HSA cards, major credit cards, ApplePay, or GooglePay. However, most insurance companies do not cover custom-made orthotics. That's why we don't currently work with any insurance companies. We want to provide you with the most convenient payment choices, so we accept all major credit cards, ApplePay, GooglePay, and FSA/HSA cards.

Will my custom orthotics provide instant pain relief?

In some cases, your custom-made orthotics will provide instant relief. Sometimes your foot has to get used to wearing the new orthotic. Your feet and arch are delicate and placing them in a different position may feel awkward. We suggest wearing your custom orthotics for 1/2 an hour on day one and increasing the time frame by a half-hour each day for two weeks. This will give your feet time to adjust to the new device.

If I have a diagnosis from a podiatrist, will I be able to purchase orthotics from Buffalo Orthotics?

Yes, simply provide the prescription from your doctor and when you go through the order process you’ll be able to share that information.

When will I receive my custom-made orthotics?

After your casting you should receive your custom orthotics within 4 weeks barring a national pandemic, or weather-related disasters.

How often will I need to replace my custom orthotics?

Accepted Answer

Your custom orthotics from Buffalo Orthotics should last at least X years assuming normal wear and tear. Activity level, weight, and the types of activities performed will impact the life of your orthotics.
